About Me

Hello! I'm Bosheng Ding, a passionate AI enthusiast with a journey that spans continents and technologies. Growing up in a small city, my academic adventure began at 18 when I was awarded a scholarship by the Singapore government to study at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). This milestone marked the beginning of an enriching journey. After graduation, I dove into the world of finance as a consultant at PwC Consulting. I worked with an amazing team and a group of economists to build models for financial institutions in Southeast Asia, e.g. Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and South Africa.

My curiosity and desire for innovation took a new turn in 2019 during a trip to California. Visiting Silicon Valley, I was captivated by the rapid pace of technological evolution and decided to delve deeper into the world of computing. This decision led me to pursue a PhD in Computer Science, supported by the joint scholarship program of NTU and Alibaba Group. I am fortunately supervised by Prof. Shafiq Joty (NTU & Salesforce) and Prof. Luu Anh Tuan (NTU) and collaborated with Prof. Junjie Hu (UW Madison). Specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), I've witnessed and contributed to the evolution of the field, from the emergence of BERT to the groundbreaking ChatGPT & GPT4.

My vision is to create something unique in the intersection of human-AI interactions, driving forward innovations that can redefine our future. I've been involved in the development of several AI startups, where I've channeled my passion for AI into tangible results.
